Named after the wife of Harold Epstein, renowned plantsman of Epimedium fame, spidery violet-purple flowers bloom early in the season with very long, white, outward-projecting spurs, and are held amongst leaves with a springtime purple cast aging to green. Deciduous and clump forming.
