Leaves are flushed reddish-bronze with light green veins when young but later become a fresh green. Flowers are borne in tallish racemes, with very pretty light sulfur-yellow petals and white sepals and spurs. They face shyly downward from upright stems. Early-flowering. Evergreen.*
