Species fleabane with the signature pale purple, daisy-like flowers with yellow centers. This one is native to the high elevations of the Rocky Mountains, primarily in CO found at 8000 to 13000 ft elevation. Taller and hairier than most fleabanes found in gardens. Pollinator friendly!

Best grown in full sun in well-draining, leaner soils. Too rich of an environment will lead to rapid but weak growth.

Carefully packed for each plant

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.

We reuse clean paper and plastic packing materials whenever practical. It is easier on the planet and helps keep shipping costs down for you, too.
