Large, fast-growing flannel bush that boasts a prolific initial bloom of large orange-yellow flowers in spring, then sporadic blooms until sustained frosts. Upright form, vase-shaped in time. The fuzzy leaves of the flannel bush are left undisturbed by deer and other grazers. Evergreen, incredibly drought-tolerant, deer-resistant, pollinator-friendly- what more can we ask?
Best grown in dry, very well-drained soils with full sun. Requires weekly water for its first season, then it is best left alone. Foliage can cause contact dermatitis; take care!
