Evergreen clump forming perennial with long narrow foliage of bright green with dark green margins and markings up the center, dark purple undersides. Native to the rainforest of SE Brazil. 

Best grown indoors in bright indirect light, well-draining soil, with water when top 1-2 inches are dry. Best with stable room temperatures and humidity above 60%.
