Our garden specimen was planted out as a hardiness test for the hybrid and it has survived the last several winters (2021-2025) in the ground and looks beautiful! Our 2023 winter had a winter storm with icy snow lasting for days and temperatures down to 13° F and it did not show any signs of frost damage at all!
