In late winter to early spring 2.5-3 in pure white flowers bloom with golden-yellow stamens. These outward-facing flowers are in a dense bouquet at or below height of emerging foliage. Dark green, mildly toothed, evergreen leaves form a low mound. Evergreen perennial.
