Gesneriad with large white/cream tubular flowers with purple spots down the throat, reminiscent of foxgloves. It spreads via rhizome to form a groundcover of tropical-looking foliage, and flowers in mid-fall.
They grow best in bright, indirect light with even moisture and good drainage. It's relatively easy to grow in containers, too. Plant with Heuchera, Bergenia, Roscoea, and Podophyllum.
