Densely growing evergreen shrub with large glossy foliage (Camellia-like, one could say), a pyramidal habit, and large bright red berries (cultivar is female). Excellent hedge plant.
This plant is one of the most low maintenance shrubs in our garden. Do not be intimidated by its possible large stature, they are slow and steady and if in 15-20 years it gets too big, they can take a massive haircut with no issues.
