Impatiens balansae is one of the most handsome pet Impatiens in our tenders' greenhouse. It has much more structure, standing upright, and does not have limp foliage like some of its relatives. The top of the foliage is a handsome bright, darker green, while the underside is a deep rich purple. The flowers are bright yellow-orange with tomato-red wing petals. 

Impatiens foliage is tender and may be damaged during shipping.  Snip off any affected foliage.  The plant will regenerate new growth from the remaining stems and/or from the roots.

Carefully packed for each plant

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.

We reuse clean paper and plastic packing materials whenever practical. It is easier on the planet and helps keep shipping costs down for you, too.
