Soft lavender-blue to deep violet flowers appear in late winter and early spring. Evergreen, olive-green leaves make attractive vertical clumps whether in flower or not. Native to the Black Sea coast of Turkey and Georgia. Best with regular water but, once established, will tolerate short spells of drought.
