A slow spreading, sometimes colonizing fern from New Zealand identifiable by its soft triangular, pinnate fronds which emerge from creeping rhizomes. Give this gray-green fern some room to spread under shade providers in damp, rich, well-drained soil. It would naturally occur in rainforest conditions or sheltered, shady groves of Eucalyptus. Beautiful landscaping specimen when installed to slowly colonize as a ground cover underneath shrubs and trees.
