Seed collected in Wineglass Bay from a 2018 trip to Tasmania. The parent plant was notably columnar with dimensions of 10 ft T x 2.5 ft W.  Small evergreen leaves as expected of the genus. Flowers are fragrant, white, and about the size of a quarter. Fast growers, about 12 inches per year. 

We planted one out in the display garden and it's now survived three winters in our climate. The first winter was mild but this past winter we had sustained low temperatures of about 15°F. Growing to be an elegant pillar.

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.

We reuse clean paper and plastic packing materials whenever practical. It is easier on the planet and helps keep shipping costs down for you, too.
