An exceptional selection named after a gifted gardener, this Honeybush is a reliably hardy, quick-growing South African native. Up to 18 inch-long blue-green leaves have "pinked" edges, and arch like ostrich feathers. The ambiguous leaf color allows for a purplish interpretation depending upon its context. The leaves are especially beautiful when studded with rain diamonds!
Dramatic pendent spikes have brick-red flowers that amaze from June to August. This 6' x 6' tropicalesque presence has looked great well into November here in Western Oregon.Minimum temperature: 10° F
