Definitely in our list of top 10 favorite grasses, Deer Grass has extremely fine texture and a fountain effect. (Filamentosa could have been as apt an epithet as rigens.) Stunning and more cascading when covered with frost!

Even though it is quite drought tolerant we have seen it quite happy in gardens with regular water.

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.

We reuse clean paper and plastic packing materials whenever practical. It is easier on the planet and helps keep shipping costs down for you, too.
