'Globosa Viridis' is a shrubby oval pine, 8' tall by 5' wide - a good alternative to the usual broadleaf evergreen shrub, perfect as a garden anchor or "datum," and excellent as a screening plant or chubby hedge. This is a dense, teddy-bear-of-a-conifer that will handily and completely block an unfortunate view in a really nice way. In 10-15 years, when the trouble has moved away and you get bored with your beautiful green cone, give it an interesting "haircut". See picture 3.

Carefully packed for each plant

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.

We reuse clean paper and plastic packing materials whenever practical. It is easier on the planet and helps keep shipping costs down for you, too.
