This 12-inch tall, semi-evergreen epiphytic fern is dark green with upright leathery fronds that are the crested form of the native polypody, i.e. fronds are bifurcated at the tips. It's a fall grower and summer sleeper looking its very best in winter, which can contribute to making your fern garden vibrant year-round. Dry shade is okay for this one - it's used to fending for itself.
