In late winter - early spring, cream-white blooms with lavender-blue picotee edges. The reverse of the petals is sometimes lavender-blue instead of, or as well as, the edges. Egg-yolk yellow centers, too! The blooms form in clusters on stems that rise just above rosettes of crinkled, medium-green leaves.
