A serendipitous find from the gardens of Dancing Oaks Nursery! The distinct leaf on this flowering currant emerges green and then develops a liberal dusting of light yellow so that it appears moonlit. Its deep red pendent flowers make a provocative contrast to the leaf color in mid to late spring - all told, the plant is pale in the prettiest way. It prefers part shade, morning sun at most, with afternoon protection. A more rounded form than many currants.
