Blooms mid-spring through the first fall frost with masses of fragrant, white, single roses. Blue-green, disease-resistant leaves. Gorgeous.
Like most roses, it would prefer full sun for its heaviest bloom, but this one blooms beautifully in light shade too.
You can grow it as a mounding shrub, easily maintained at 6-8 ft T x W or let it ramble up a tree for a vine ~ 12 ft T. Blooms on new growth, so best pruned in early spring. Not one to try and keep as a small bush, you will lose.

Notes for Hort-Heads: This rose was discovered in 1993 by Mike Darlow in Eugene, OR. Its orgins are not known, hence the Enigma. It is widely recognized as some kind of R. moschata hybrid.
