Native to Mexico and Guatemala - this semi-evergreen has slender rush-like stems that bloom with red tubular flowers from early summer through fall. Emerging upright growth matures to an arching, cascading form perfect for pots. Prefers regular summer water to support continuous blooming. Full sun and heat tolerant. Blooms are reduced as shade is increased. May be overwintered as a houseplant. Hummingbird love this plant!
