A large perennial Salvia guranitica hybrid — to three feet tall in a single season — blooms from spring to frost with dark purple flowers. Argentine salvia expert Rolando Uria found this lovely selection at a plant show in Argentina. Plantsman Rod Richards
For best results, plant in spring - early summer and wait till spring to cut back the previous season's stems.
