Yellow-green leaves contrast deep, sky-blue flowers in late spring-fall. The overall form is dense & upright and it spreads via rhizomes. Though the common name 'Bog Salvia' indicates that it requires constant wet, this plant is unusual in that it tolerates wet to dry soils and everything in between. It will, however, be shorter and slower to grow in the dry garden.
