Small evergreen shrub/ tiny tree with small oval deep green leaves with a cream edge and grey bark which grows paler with age. Blooms in spring-fall with delicate tiny star-shaped flowers in shades of pink or white depending on heat and light conditions. Suitable for bonsai and houseplant conditions.

This plant does not like dramatic temperature or moisture changes. Grows best if kept inside or in a winter-heated greenhouse. Do not allow it to dry completely.

If you are lucky enough to live in a temperate area with your nightly lows in the 50s and daily highs in the 70s, then this plant would be happy to grow for you outside with morning sun and afternoon shade. You would delight the bees in your neighborhood as they seem to love this shrub.

We grow this plant in our "Jurassic Park" greenhouse which is heated to 40° F during the winter.

Mature size: 3-5 ft T x W

Minimum temperature: 40° F

Carefully packed for each plant

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.

We reuse clean paper and plastic packing materials whenever practical. It is easier on the planet and helps keep shipping costs down for you, too.

Choose your Monday ship date

At checkout, choose from the available Monday ship dates. We ship with UPS from Monmouth, Oregon, and you will receive an email with tracking information when your shipment is prepared or enters the UPS system.

Arrival times vary by destination and weather, so we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date or time.
