Fine, dense, 2 ft tall grassy clumps produce silvery, feathery, sinuous, trailing seed heads up to 30 in long that eventually curl into corkscrews. Mid through late summer bloom. 

Best grown in full sun with only occasional summer water, well-drained soil preferred.
