A hardy African Violet relative from East Asia that adds soft buttery beauty to shade garden beds in autumn with golden yellow foxglove-like flowers with garnet red throats over fuzzy silver-green basal foliage.
Best grown in light shade in humus-rich, well-draining soil. Most commonly killed by too much winter water without adequate drainage.
