Blooms look decadently more like a wedding cake decoration atop classicly charming Trillium grandiflorum leaves. This double-flowered white trillium is stunning! Roselike in its layers, its bright white blossoms fade to pink at the end of its long bloom time starting in early spring. Selecting the right sight in shady, moist, somewhat acidic woodland soil, will lead to success. Goes dormant by summertime. Spreads rhizomatically and with time and good conditions can spread to naturalize an area.
